“The artworks of the Diana series represent the second chapter of New Gardens. The predominant constructive principle here is the representation of a convex world of images: photos of obviously peeling walls partly covered with green moss. Each picture’s panel is accordingly an autonomous artwork, a story about the power and the poetry of evocations of images of bygone days and about the genesis of these images in the process of appropriating the motifs offered by old Casino Estoril in Macau.”
